The Purpose
This ministry is set up to minister to the unbeliever and affirm the believer. To the unbeliever we will preach the Gospel in such a way that they can understand. To the believer we will affirm the truths of the Gospel so that in this complex and confused world they are assured.
The Mission
" .... And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard ? ....." Romans 10:14b
The Gospel of Jesus Christ, although simple, is darkened by the saturation of sin in the hearts of men and women. By scripture we know that the sinner is in darkness spiritually and thus mentally he/she finds themselves confused as to what exactly the Gospel teaches regarding mans spiritual needs.
This is a ministry of apologetics to defend the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This will be a source of communicating the truth of the Gospel so that the unbelievers perception and understanding of gospel doctrine can be clarified.
Let's Get It Straight !
Christians do not hate anyone !
On the contrary we are taught to love eveyone especially the sinner knowing that we ourselves were once lost in sin. Christians are to be compassionate and loving to all sinners considering we ourselves can succumb to falling in sin if we do not maintain a vigilant watch over our own weaknesses. Therefore, Christians cannot esteem themselves better or above anyone else.
We do not hate homosexuals or lesbians
Please do not judge the homosexual or lesbian practicing people. Remember Christ died to reach and save them. Love them and win over with patience and prayer. Love is the sledgehammer which breaks the chains of sin's bondage.
We do however encourage the homosexuals and lesbians to turn away from this devestating lifestlye.
We are to welcome all into our church families and embrace all who come to us. However, God does not approve of, and we cannot condone the homosexual/lesbian lifestyle or practice. We know by the scripture (see text in side bar) that God will not allow such people, among others, in heaven unless there is repentance and a total abandoment of these sinful practices.
